Connemara National Park is only possible become of the incredible generosity of the Irish people. Our network of hundreds of volunteers and farmers help maintain the hiking trails, keep invasive species like Rhododendron at bay, mend fences to keep livestock out of the national park and educate people about the wonders of nature through our forest schools, Irish language summer camps and community projects

Our park is free for all to enjoy. The majority of our funding comes directly from the government, through the new ring-fenced Data Centre Windfall Tax on large data centre operators and the Ultra Processed Food Tax on multinational UPF corporations, with public donations to the park also welcome
